As a partner of the Erasmus+ project “Agri Social”, the University of Oradea successfully organized a workshop, focusing on the training and professional integration of people from socially vulnerable groups into the agri-food sector.
The discussion was particularly fruitful and constructive, bringing together key stakeholders from local authorities, educational institutions, NGOs, and civil society. The participants shared insights, experiences, and best practices on how urban and rural agriculture can serve as a vehicle for social inclusion and empowerment.
Among the participating organizations were:
Primăria Tileagd (Tileagd Municipality)
Primăria Hidișelu de Sus (Hidișelu de Sus Municipality)
DAJ Bihor (Agricultural Directorate Bihor)
Asociația Ecoforest Life
SCOP Oradea
Liceul Tehnologic
Asociația General Gheorghe Avramescu
The Agri Social project aims to build bridges between social services, the agri-food sector, and vocational education, promoting employment opportunities and active inclusion for those who need it most.
