WP1 Project Management
Project Management activities include time and financial management, monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance. Additionally, two Project Partners’ Working Meetings are foreseen in Romania and in Czech Ewpublic; the Kick-off meeting has already been held in Thessaloniki, Greece, in February 2025, and the Closing meeting will be organised towards the end of the project in Berlin. Germany.
WP2 Needs Assessment - Methodology of identifying educational/training needs among people belonging to vulnerable groups
WP2 focuses on identifying the educational and training needs of people belonging to vulnerable groups, with a particular emphasis on those engaged or formerly engaged in urban agriculture. This Work Package involves a comprehensive needs assessment process (T2.1), aiming to inform the development of targeted educational content and tools. The process begins with discussions involving 6–8 civic organizations that represent or work closely with vulnerable populations, in order to gather insights on their members' current situations, aspirations, and obstacles—providing valuable input for the following tasks (notably T2.2).
Data collection methods will include structured questionnaires, personal interviews, and focus groups with both members of the organizations and individuals from vulnerable groups involved in urban agriculture. In parallel, desk research will be conducted to explore relevant studies on NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and identify recurring needs, strengths, and barriers.
Building on the findings of T2.1 and T2.2, deliverable D2.3 will include the creation of a digital learning platform accompanied by a toolkit designed to support the educational efforts of the project. The toolkit will consist of presentations, videos, MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), and RLOs (Reusable Learning Objects), contributed by all project partners.
WP3 On-site Training
WP3 focuses on hands-on training activities, aiming to empower individuals from vulnerable social groups participating in urban agriculture initiatives. The objective of this Work Package is to provide appropriate skills through both theoretical and practical training, based on the needs identified in WP2.
The first phase of WP3 involves the assessment and selection of the most suitable training methods to address the needs highlighted in T2.1. In addition, each participating country will select specific urban agricultural practices to implement, taking into account their geographic and climatic conditions. Furthermore, the types of crops to be cultivated in each country will be defined, ensuring context-specific and sustainable application of the practices.
Educational material will be developed, including the cultivation practices to be applied through local initiatives.

Each country will conduct local training sessions, which will include:
-> Remote theoretical training
-> On-field practical training
-> Training visits in partners’ counties
WP4 Social Entrepreneurship
WP4 addresses the needs of the target group by developing a methodology that acts as a roadmap for social entrepreneurs. It supports decision-making in setting objectives, marketing strategies, and financial planning. The guide aims to help entrepreneurs avoid common pitfalls and serves as a practical manual focused on innovative tools for business plan development.
The methodology will be tested across all countries with experts, stakeholders, and trainers, collecting feedback to refine the content. Each partner contributes a good practice case from a social entrepreneur in their country, offering valuable insights and practical models.
WP5 Dissemination and Communication
Dissemination and Exploitation is important as it enhances its visibility and paves the way to creating synergies with related initiatives on local/regional, national and especially EU levels.
WP5 focuses on the dissemination and communication of the project’s objectives, activities, and results to a broader audience. Two multiplier events will be organized—one in Greece and one in Romania—to promote the project at the local level, raise awareness, and engage key stakeholders.
During these events, partners will present their organizations, the project’s aims, and expected impact on vulnerable groups through urban agriculture and social entrepreneurship.
The final conference of the project will be hosted in Germany by Prinzessinnengarten Kollektiv Berlin, serving as a platform for all partners to showcase results, share experiences, and discuss the long-term impact of the project.
