Online Workshop Recap – Erasmus+ “Agri Social”
We were delighted to host a fruitful online workshop under the Erasmus+ “Agri Social” programme, coordinated by the American Farm School in Thessaloniki. Participants from key organisations joined an insightful conversation including:
Two of Greece’s largest and most comprehensive universities
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, renowned for its leading School of Agriculture and commitment to sustainability and research, and
University of Macedonia, a major research and academic institution in northern Greece on economics, social science and business![💪]()
Innoviera a social innovation lab supporting social impact and inclusive entrepreneurship
Open Day Centre for Homeless People, Municipality of Thessaloniki
Youth Housing SOS Village Plagiari, offering supported housing & youth empowerment
Incommon, an organisation promoting circular economy models and sustainability
During the workshop, based on the survey results, all participating organisations expressed strong willingness to collaborate further. This marks a promising step forward in jointly supporting vulnerable social groups through training and professional inclusion in the agri‑food sector.
Agri Social aims to empower beneficiaries from vulnerable groups through vocational training and job inclusion in the agri‑food sector, contributing to social inclusion, sustainable development, and local economic growth. The presence and contribution of each partner was highly valuable for both informing and shaping the process of beneficiary selection.
We look forward to continuing this collaboration and developing meaningful opportunities together!
